Building a Better Audience Journey with AudienceView

Long before a ticket is scanned, the audience relationship has already begun. It starts with the first search and purchase, then continues through event day and beyond.

In the first half of 2026, AudienceView strengthened that journey through the acquisitions of Saffire and Audience Republic, new product updates, and continued growth across the live event industry. Together, these investments are helping organizations create more connected experiences and turn moments of interest into lasting audience relationships.

Making Live Event Discovery Easier for Audiences

The audience journey often starts online, where the right digital experience can turn interest into action. That is where Saffire adds new possibilities. With deep experience supporting fairs, festivals, and attractions, Saffire provides websites built specifically for live events. Organizations can connect discovery and ticket purchase while easily managing content without relying on a development team.

Looking ahead, the Custom Browsing Experience currently in development for AudienceView Professional will give organizations greater control over event pages, calendars, ticket browsing, and the path to checkout.

For experiences created with a particular audience in mind, Private Microsites in AudienceView Unlimited provide controlled access to tailored event pages. New password reset support also makes it easier for invited audiences to regain access when needed. These capabilities help audiences find relevant experiences and make the next step easier.

Creating an Easier Event Ticketing and Checkout Experience

Buying a ticket should feel simple. Across AudienceView Professional and Unlimited, updates are helping remove common barriers along the way.

AudienceView Unlimited is also making progress on a new purchase flow, with clients currently participating in beta testing. The modern, mobile-responsive experience reduces the number of clicks required to complete a purchase and is designed to support higher conversion and lower cart abandonment.

Other updates are removing common barriers along the way. Address autocomplete speeds up registration and billing while improving data accuracy. Browser-language detection creates a more accessible experience in multilingual regions, while more accurate checkout timers show buyers how much time they have left. An updated Forgot Password flow also unlocks the buyer’s account, helping them return to their purchase while reducing support needs for box-office teams.

In AudienceView Professional, the total ticket cost, including mandatory facility and convenience fees, is now easier to see across key purchase pages and ticket formats. That transparency matters: 42% of ticket buyers said removing additional fees would encourage them to attend more live events at the same venue, while surprise fees were the leading reason buyers abandoned their carts in AudienceView’s 2026 Annual Ticket Buyer Report.

AudienceView Unlimited also gives teams more control over promotions. Multi-use promo codes simplify sponsor, partner, member, and internal offers, while promo groups can target specific seats, rows, or sections independently of price zones.

Together, these updates create a smoother, more transparent path to purchase for audiences while helping organizations protect revenue.

Improving Mobile Ticketing and Event Entry

A completed purchase is not the finish line. The ease of finding a ticket and getting through the door can shape how someone remembers the entire event and whether they want to return.

No more searching through an inbox at the entrance. Digital wallet tickets in AudienceView Professional let buyers save eligible tickets directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy access without logging back into an account. In Q2, 70% of all tickets sold through AudienceView Professional were eligible for digital wallets, highlighting the growing importance of mobile access across the event-day experience. Wallet tickets also display the total price, carrying transparency into the post-purchase experience.

At the door, even a small workflow improvement can keep the line moving. AudienceView Unlimited now keeps the ticket-number field in focus while scanning, reducing interruptions and supporting greater speed and accuracy during busy entry periods.

It is a small detail with real impact. According to the Annual Ticket Buyer Report, 27% of buyers cite entry and scanning as a major frustration. A simpler arrival helps set the right tone before the event even begins.

Connecting Event Ticketing and Marketing to Build Audience Relationships

The best audience relationships do not end when the event does. Sustainable growth depends on understanding each interaction and using those insights to give audiences a reason to return.

Audience Republic brings ticketing and marketing closer together. By syncing order, contact, and event data from AudienceView Unlimited, teams can segment audiences by behavior, create more relevant campaigns across email, SMS, and paid channels, better understand performance, and automate engagement that supports loyalty and repeat attendance.

“We’re able to very easily go in and see these guys saw this band the last time they were here. We’re going to send them a notification that they’re coming again. Are they interested in coming back? We’re able to do the targeted emails with so much more ease and efficiency. It’s just great.”— Richey Suncoast Theatre

Teams can also group related events by season or series to see performance across ticket sales, orders, insights, and messaging. Refreshed navigation, contact profiles, filters, tags, and data-capture tools make audience information easier to organize and act on, while Marketing Expert AI provides practical guidance during campaign creation.

These capabilities help organizations spend less time piecing together information and more time building lasting audience relationships.

Strengthening Event Ticketing Fraud Prevention and Buyer Trust

Connection cannot grow without trust. Audiences need to know their information and purchases are secure. Organizations, meanwhile, need to reduce risk without slowing down legitimate buyers.

To help teams strike that balance, AudienceView made advanced fraud protection more accessible to Professional clients through the new AV Fraud Prevention Service. The service identifies risky card transactions in real time using signals such as device intelligence, behavioral patterns, transaction velocity, and geolocation and IP detection. New block-and-allow controls give teams more ways to manage flagged customers, while risk scoring helps reduce false declines.

Across AudienceView’s fraud prevention efforts, more than $221 million in fraudulent transactions have been stopped, along with more than 197,000 fraudster and reseller accounts.

Trust matters behind the scenes, too. AudienceView Unlimited now prompts users to sign in before accessing shared report and business intelligence links, helping organizations provide timely access to information without passing credentials through a URL.

It all adds up to stronger protection for revenue and audience trust without adding unnecessary friction.

Building a More Connected Live Event Ticketing Platform

The first half of 2026 was about more than individual releases. From Saffire and Audience Republic to continued investments across AudienceView Professional and Unlimited, each update strengthens a different stage of the audience journey.

We will continue helping live event organizations remove friction, act on audience insights, and create connected experiences that build lasting relationships.
