AudienceView FAQ
AudienceView products include an unlimited number of user licenses, allowing multiple users with various permission levels for security. User access is managed on a per-user basis, enabling access to single or multiple AudienceView accounts with customizable permissions to control functions such as report viewing or production-level access. This flexible licensing model ensures secure and tailored user management without limiting the number of users.
AudienceView offers both per ticket and annual subscription pricing for clients. Both of these pricing models include the full platform, features, onboarding, data migration, unlimited users and 24/7 support. The difference is purely how you prefer to pay not what you get.
• Per Ticket Pricing: You pay a flat fee for each ticket sold based on your expected annual volume, with a light minimum to secure your rate. This option is ideal if your sales fluctuate and you want a true pay as you go model without upfront costs.
• Subscription Pricing: You pre-purchase a set number of tickets for the year giving you consistent costs, stronger value at scale and simpler budgeting. If you exceed your allotment, any additional tickets are billed at your agreed overage rate.
Both AudienceView Professional and Unlimited allow you to prompt patrons for donations during the ticket checkout process, making it easy to convert ticket buyers into donors at the moment they are most engaged.
AudienceView Unlimited enables configurable donation popup messages for online users, presenting suggested or recommended donation amounts that can be optionally added to the order.
AudienceView Professional lets you embed donation prompts directly in the checkout flow, with options for targeted appeals, flexible amounts, suggested levels, and anonymous giving. This approach helps drive incremental revenue and strengthen patron relationships.
AudienceView offers a far more robust and connected CRM experience than Eventbrite. You get complete patron profiles with purchase, membership, and donation history all in one place, along with advanced segmentation tools to target very specific audience groups. Fundraising is built directly into the platform, keeping ticketing and donor data seamlessly connected.

AudienceView Unlimited allows patrons to store tokenized credit card information, enabling venues to offer true payment plans for added flexibility. While AudienceView Professional does not include a traditional campaign page builder, but our built-in marketing product, Audience Republic provides ready-to-launch landing pages for campaigns, waitlists, and presales, with automatic CRM syncing and real-time tracking. Professional still offers branded event, ticketing, and donation pages, but high-converting campaign landing pages are delivered through Audience Republic.
AudienceView offers powerful, flexible patron segmentation: Tagging interests, giving capacity, volunteer activity, artistic preferences, accessibility needs, location, and attendance patterns, to build targeted groups (e.g., “major donors who attend musicals,” “families who come to education events”), drive dynamic content, sync segments to email marketing tools (Audience Republic, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc), and automate journeys like welcomes, post‑show follow‑ups, acknowledgements, and re‑engagements, all with centralized tasks and history for team alignment.
Layering Audience Republic makes segmentation even richer by auto‑syncing ticketing and attendance data for real‑time, always‑up‑to‑date segments (buyers/non‑buyers, checkout abandoners, frequent attendees, locals vs. travelers, seat/price‑based buyers) that power multi‑channel campaigns across email, SMS, and paid social, plus automations for presales, post‑show engagement, loyalty, and win‑backs. These capabilities are supported through Audience Republic and AudienceView Unlimited’s Correspondence and Business Intelligence tools for advanced targeting and execution.
Not exactly—but it gives you powerful visual tools to help optimize pricing and understand demand:
• Customizable seating charts show real-time availability and layout, so you can spot high-demand areas at a glance.
• Color-coded price zones let you manage and adjust pricing visually across sections—think Orchestra vs. Balcony—with instant updates.
• Dynamic pricing features allow early-bird discounts or last-minute premiums, adapting prices based on demand.
• Detailed event-level reporting reveals which seats and products perform best, helping you make smarter inventory and pricing decisions.
So, while you won’t see a traditional heatmap, you’ll have all the visual cues and data you need to optimize pricing and maximize revenue.

Yes – AudienceView supports both reserved seating and general admission events. You can create unlimited ticket types for any setup whether it’s general admission for casual events, reserved seating for premium shows, or even timed entry for exhibitions and tours. Plus, you can mix multiple price tiers in the same venue, like VIP sections, accessible seating, and student discounts, all in one go.
AudienceView Professional enables patrons to receive barcoded e-tickets as printable PDFs, which can be scanned in-person via mobile device to track real-time attendance, prevent ticket fraud, and streamline entry verification. AudienceView Unlimited expands on these capabilities by supporting mobile PDF tickets, QR codes, and digital tickets that can be stored in digital wallets, including Apple and Google Wallets, offering even greater flexibility and convenience for both venues and attendees.
AudienceView supports memberships and donations alongside ticketing, allowing organizations to offer flexible packages, track donor activity, and process everything in a single order.
AudienceView Unlimited provides integrated fundraising and membership management, with incremental and static membership types, automated benefits, donation tracking, and configurable donation prompts at checkout.
Professional also enables membership functionality within fundraising campaigns, offers robust donation tools including automations and pledge management, and can grant ticket benefits to donors based on contribution levels.

Customers can accept renewal offers online or through back office channels, with flexible expiration dates and options for auto-renewal and scheduled payments managed by system administrators.
AudienceView Professional handles subscriptions and renewals through Packages, covering season tickets, memberships, and other bundles. Its FixedPlus Packages allow seats to automatically roll over each year, and the integrated CRM provides a 360-degree view of patrons, enabling detailed reports on buyer behavior, demographics, and engagement.
AudienceView does not offer a dedicated performer portal, but both Professional and Unlimited provide robust dashboards and reporting tools designed for organizational users. Access is managed through user permissions: in Professional, users are assigned either full or limited access, and permissions can be customized for each role. In Unlimited, system administrators have granular control to create user roles and groups, determining what data users can access and what actions they can perform. If you want performers or external users to see event data, you can easily share reports via email without granting full system access.
AudienceView Professional and Unlimited both offer flexible tools for managing comps, seat holds, and split payments.
Comps can be issued as $0 ticket types, with Professional restricting these to authorized box office staff for control and tracking, while Unlimited allows $0 tickets in any sales channel.
For holds, Professional provides a default Generic Hold type and lets you create custom hold types for specific needs, while Unlimited supports unlimited hold types with granular user permissions so only designated staff can manage or sell held seats.
Both products support split payments, enabling patrons to pay with multiple methods such as credit card, gift card, voucher, or cash, and Unlimited allows split payments online between card, gift card, or account credit.
All these features are backed by color-coded seat maps, role-based permissions, internal notes, and detailed reporting for transparency and control.
AudienceView Unlimited offers extensive package options, allowing you to bundle tickets, donations, merchandise, vouchers, and more across all sales channels. You can create subscription and season tickets (with seat renewal across venues), fixed and flexible bundles, family packages, and cross-packaging with non-ticket items, all of which can be adjusted and pro-rated as events occur.
AudienceView Professional also makes it easy to build fixed packages, flexible bundles, and flex passes, letting patrons redeem admissions for events of their choice, and supports bundling merchandise or memberships alongside advanced seat management for reserved seating, VIP sections, and accessible seats.
To buy tickets, simply visit the organization’s AudienceView-powered website, browse upcoming events, choose your seats, and complete checkout using a valid payment method.
